I found the original recipe of this Bistro Style Garlic Mustard Dressing while doing my Whole30 reset. It actually was a dressing or a breakfast salad in the Whole30 Cookbook. Since I’m a big fan of garlic and mustard, I kicked up the quantities of each, and I use Boar’s Head brand mustard, because its my favorite.
TIP: Make sure you take the dressing out of the fridge a few minutes before you’re going to us it so it “melts”.
TIP: Any lidded container will work for this, just be ready to shake!

Bistro Style Garlic Mustard Dressing
Looking for a little kick in your salad dressing? This recipe will do it!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Step 1 Combine all ingredients into container with lid.
- Step 2 Shake to combine.
- Step 3 TIP: Add more mustard, garlic and pepper to add more kick to this dressing.
